I’ve been wanting to draw a realistic style Fay for ages, but I knew it would be really difficult so I’d been avoiding trying. Sure enough, it was super frustrating!
Fay is one of those characters that is so difficult to envision in real life. There’s barely any masculinity in his features, yet he’s not overly feminine in the way that a lot of bishonen are either. More a soft, almost feline, unassuming prettiness (See: [link] ).
Overall, I think it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I surprised myself! It’s pretty close to how I imagine Fay would look. Plus I managed to get his “You wanna…?” expression in there!
