Secret Santa

I hope everyone had a very merry :xmas: X-Mas :xmas: this year!
I spent mine in a very homely fashion; watching Disney movies on Tv, eating cheese and crackers and drinking lots of tea and hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. :D

This year I was invited to take part in a DA Secret Santa event :icons-secretsanta:.
I asked for my present to be a cute, romantic drawing of either Hideki and Chii from Chobits or Raikou and Gau from Nabari no Ou.

:iconharususaku: was my lovely Santa and she drew me this gorgeous and adorable picture of Raikou and Gau under the stars!

My heart melts for the hug-from-behind pose and she captured their personalities perfectly. ;_______:

Thank you, my Santa, for drawing me such a beautiful gift, although I haven't been very good at all this year. ^^;

There are very few artists that wouldn't see what you're doing as art theft, plain and simple. I wouldn't certainly wouldn't view you taking my artwork without my permission, editing it, and then sharing it around as free-to-use graphics as a compliment or a thank you! I'd see it as you getting praise and attention for my hard work. Praise and attention that you didn't earn in the slightest.
An illustration can take days and a lot of effort to complete. Removing the background from an illustration takes a matter of minutes and almost anyone can do it. It's not a skill or a talent in any way.

It doesn't matter whether you 'believe' what you're doing it wrong or not. Fact is, it IS wrong.
DO NOT take use any of my illustrations in the way that you've been doing and do not use any other artist's work in the future without getting their permission first.
